BRCA PROTECT is a ground-breaking research programme at University College London (UCL) supported by women’s cancer charity, The Eve Appeal. Under the direction of Prof Martin Widschwendter, this research study aims to find out whether important information about a woman’s risk of breast, ovarian, womb and cervical cancer can be found on a cervical smear. The study seeks to expand the range of options available to women at increased risk of cancer, by developing new preventive measures that will enable them to reduce their risk, without the need for surgery.

Please visit our Clinic website for more information and to contribute to the research.
